Pathway to Become a Haia Teacher

Become a Haia Teacher

Haia teachers are developed through practice, self-study, and a deep embodiment of the method.

The women who teach at Haia came through the practice itself. They showed up consistently, felt the method change their bodies and their lives, and eventually felt called to guide others through the same work. This pathway exists for the woman who feels that pull.

The Pathway to Become a Haia Teacher

Every Haia teacher begins as a student. The pathway from practice to teaching is intentional, gradual, and built on real experience of the method. Here is how it works.

Phase 1 | Practice

Before you can guide someone else through the method, learning should become embodied knowledge.

To begin the pathway, maintain an active Haia membership and complete a minimum of 40 classes within a 3 to 5 month period. During this time you are you are practicing and learning embodiment. You are developing a relationship with alignment, breath, and awareness through repetition and consistency.

By the end of this phase you should be able to feel the difference the method makes in your body and articulate clearly how the practice has changed you. The shift is physical, mental, emotional, and deeply personal.

Women who are ready to move into Mentorship naturally begin to gravitate toward deeper understanding. They ask more questions. They want to know why, not just what. They begin to see the method as something that extends beyond the class and into their life.

Phase 2 | Mentorship

This 12-week container is where the inner work happens. Alongside your weekly sessions, you will move through a structured self-study practice on your own time that unlocks creativity, clears blocks, and reconnects you to your own voice.

Inside the weekly container you will explore how your energy works and where your greatest gifts live — the ones so natural to you that you have likely overlooked them. You will build a personal meditation practice. You will begin the work of reprogramming the subconscious patterns that shape how you show up, how you respond, and how you lead.

By the end of these 12 weeks you will know yourself in a way that most people never do. That self-knowledge is what makes a great teacher.

A $150 deposit holds your spot in the cohort. The next cohort opens August or September 2026.

Phase 3 | Teacher Training

Most movement trainings teach you exercises. Haia Teacher Training teaches you how to see, understand, and organize the human body.

By the end of these eight weeks you will know how to read a room and respond to what you see. You will have a precise teaching language that brings women into their bodies rather than their heads. You will understand the architecture of a Haia class so deeply that structure becomes instinct. You will know how to hold a room with clarity, presence, and authority — and how to make every woman in it feel seen.

Practice teaching runs throughout with direct, specific feedback at every stage.

Entry requires a written reflection on your relationship with the Haia Method and why you feel called to teach it.

Phase 4 | Community Teaching

Most teacher training programs certify you and send you on your way. At Haia, certification is the beginning of a supported teaching practice.

You teach three community classes before certification. The first two are developmental, you receive direct, specific feedback on your cueing, your alignment guidance, your pacing, and your presence. You apply that feedback and refine before your next class. The third class is your evaluation.

Once you join the teaching schedule, the feedback continues. Your classes are observed, your growth is tracked, and you are never left to figure it out alone. This is how Haia teachers develop faster and more precisely than teachers who graduate from other programs and step into a studio without anyone ever having watched them teach.

At Haia, the room you teach in is also the room you continue to grow in. Certification is earned through demonstration. When you are ready, the room is yours.
