Coming Home: The Heart of Haia

In Jewish Mysticism, or Kabbalah, each letter of the alphabet carries its own energy. When parents name their child, that name holds their essence and the energy they will bring into the world. My parents named me Haia, which means life force. On a Kabbalistic level, it represents the energy that flows through us, making us feel truly alive.

When creating the Haia Method, my intention was clear: to create a space and set of practices helping women come home to their own life force. Instead of trying to fit society's ideals of beauty and happiness, I wanted women to journey inward, learning to love their essence, body, wants, needs, and desires—embracing both the light and shadow aspects of themselves.

After working with women for 15 years, I've learned something profound: we are ALL struggling with the same things. We've been conditioned to hide our struggles, to shoulder our burdens silently, to wear masks pretending everything is okay. While social media often amplifies this artifice, there's a growing corner of the internet where women are saying enough. We're exhausted from carrying the endless load, from being overlooked, underappreciated, and uncared for. Haia exists to create a space where women can not only witness themselves but be held in a support system where they are safe, loved, and truly seen.

The revolution is this: women cannot continue living as we have been. We cannot keep pushing down our depletion or trying to fix it by living, eating, and moving like men. The practical impact is clear—our bodies and spirits need different care. We need to:

  • Eat for our hormonal and metabolic health

  • Choose exercises that support our nervous and hormonal systems

  • Get adequate sleep (9-11 hours) for our overall wellbeing

  • Protect our mental health from the constant barrage of information and expectations

I'm confident we don't need to wait for the world to change. We can start making small shifts in HOW we live, and the world will transform with us. Victims never changed the world—people who rise above their limitations do.

This revolution is about coming home to ourselves, learning to love what we have without forcing it into something it's not. The path forward is simpler than we think: Remove the mask. Take a pause from constant doing. Ask yourself if your current way of being truly serves you. Perhaps you're ready to be with yourself long enough to make space for small shifts that could transform everything.

This is the heart of Haia. This is coming home. Welcome.
