Coming Home to Yourself

The idea of coming home to yourself is something I have been pondering for the last 17 years.

We live in a society that has been set up to keep us disembodied. Disconnected from our bodies, minds, passions, souls. This has been at the heart of why I started to practice yoga and teach 16 years ago.

17 years down the line, I've learned more about my own embodiment and what it means to be an embodied soul with passions, desires, and a sense of ambition. The metaphor of coming home to myself has become a real practice. And it's been one of the deepest pleasures of my life to share this with so many women.

The culmination of that was opening Haia. I've seen firsthand how huge transformations and shifts happen over time.

At the depth of it all, your body is your home and you inhabit it.

How you inhabit it. How you keep it clean, build it up, treat it. How you enjoy being present in it, or not. This is one of the greatest works of our time. Probably the revolution above all.

I created Haia as a method because I have found it to be the most efficient and loving way to get into your body, stay in your body, and live fully in it. I have seen how many women have come to Haia and stayed. Their lives have transformed. And it all started with their bodies.

The list of benefits is endless and deeply personal, which makes this method so powerful. Women with chronic physical pain move without it now. Women with deep anxiety say they wake up feeling clear and relaxed. Women with poor posture stand straight. Women with inflammation now have none. Plantar fasciitis, gone. Collapsed lungs, gone. Chronic headaches, gone. Toxic relationships with fitness and wellness and their bodies, gone. Feeling alone in the world, gone.

How is this so? Why are women getting exactly what they need? Because we always lead with personalization, love, and a sense of devotion to this home we are building and inhabiting.

The question is: How do you feel in your home?

The metaphor is potent. And the only thing that is required of you is to want to be embodied and build a solid home.

The next 28 days starting Monday is not the remedy to years of abandoning our homes.

But it is a portal. A portal into the world of rebuilding so that you can be present and enjoy life as it comes, with the full range of polarities that the world is built from.
